CBS Sports regrades 2014 Indianapolis Colts draft class

How does the Indianapolis Colts 2014 draft class look now that three seasons are in the books? CBS Sports senior NFL columnist Pete Prisco gave his answer to that question for the Colts as well as every other NFL team in a recent feature.

Before diving into Prisco’s analysis, let’s look at who the Colts selected in 2014:

-Round 2, pick 59: Jack Mewhort, OL, Ohio State
-Round 3, pick 26: Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss
-Round 5, pick 155: Jonathan Newsome, DE, Ball State
-Round 6, pick 203: Andrew Jackson, LB, Western Kentucky
-Round 7, pick 232: Ulrick John, G, Georgia State

The Colts have two starters and potential long-term pieces from this draft in Mewhort and Moncrief. Newsome showed promise early but is now in the CFL after legal problems led to his release last year, while Jackson lasted a season with the Colts and most recently played in …
